Birth Certificate
A birth certificate is an official document issued by local government authorities that records the birth of a child. In Pakistan, B-Form from NADRA serves as the birth certificate.
Eligibility
All children born in Pakistan or born to Pakistani citizens abroad. Can be registered at any age, though free registration is within 30 days.
Required Documents
- • Birth notification from hospital or midwife
- • Original CNIC of mother
- • Original CNIC of father
- • Certified copy of parents' marriage certificate
- • Two witnesses for delayed registration
Fees
- • Registration within 30 days: Free
- • Delayed registration (30 days - 1 year): Rs. 20
- • Delayed registration (1-5 years): Rs. 100
- • Delayed registration (after 5 years): Rs. 500
- • Duplicate: Rs. 50

- • Collect birth notification from hospital
- • Visit nearest NADRA office
- • Fill B-Form registration form
- • Submit required documents
- • Pay applicable fee (if applicable)
- • Receive birth certificate
